2011年，松下公司推出了全新的3D高清投影机PT-AE7000EH，AE7000的光路引擎的核心，是一种全新的超高速LCD技术，支持极高的480Hz的刷新率——这是迄今已发布的第二快的成像技术的两倍。

Full HD 3D家庭影院投影仪PT-AE7000EH正式面市。PT-AE7000EH具有1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixel)分辨率，也是全世界第一台使用480Hz驱动透明LCD面板的3D投影仪产品，并且支持3D显示功能，同时还采用了自有Overdrive Technology技术，可以有效降低串扰，提高投影质量。

PT-AE7000EH的关键3D投影技术是由松下好莱坞实验室（Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory）的工程师们协作开发的，这些工程师们也大量创作3D蓝光光盘，并开发投影仪的智能镜头存储（Intelligent Lens Memory）功能，拥有该项技术用户可以轻松编程调试并获得六个不同的变焦和对焦位置。

The projector uses a type of liquid crystal panel that typically consists of millions of pixels. This panel is built with very high-precision technology to provide the finest possible image. Occasionally, a few pixels may remain turned on (bright) or turned off (dark). Please note that this is an intrinsic characteristic of the manufacturing technology that affects all products using LCD technology.

The projector uses a high-voltage mercury lamp that contains high internal pressure. This lamp may break, emitting a large sound, or fail to illuminate, due to impact or extended use. The length of time that it takes for the lamp to break or fail to illuminate varies greatly depending on individual lamp characteristics and usage conditions.

The values above are maximum values when they are used in cycles of being turned on for 2 hours and off for 0.25 hours. When the lamps are turned on and off more frequently, the lamp replacement cycle is shortened. The usage environment affects the lamp replacement cycle.

Measurement, measuring conditions, and method of notation all comply with ISO 21118 international standards.
